Project Brief:
DOST 2024 has fully automated Telangana's undergraduate admissions process, integrating eight (8) universities (Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Mahatma Gandhi, Sathavahana, and Mahila Vishwa Vidyalayam, JNTU, and TSBTET), 1000+ colleges & 270+ courses into a seamless and transparent system. Though this system every year around 2.5 lakh admissions are processed, and it complies with merit-based reservations, including EWS and aligns with the National Education Policy. The simplified five-step online process has reduced admission time to 15 days from 6 months.

- Centralized online hub integrating 8 Universities, 1000+ Govt and private Colleges, MeeSeva, UIDAI, Payment Gateways, Scholarship portals helping more than 2.5 Lakh students annually for undergraduate admission.
- Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with a wide range of subject selections, offering approximately 500 different combinations.
- E-enabled services for students, institutes, and government bodies across 28 essential functions.
- Fully automated workflow into 5-stage process (Pre-registration, Registration, Application, Web option, Seat allotment) expedites admissions.
- Robust Authentication & Support: Strong verification (OTP, Aadhaar biometrics), ePayment options, SMS, Voice, WhatsApp chatbot, T-AppFolio (Face Recognition), verification of documents, and dedicated helplines enrich user experience.
- Eligibility & Evaluation Management: Categorization into Green, Orange, and Red channels for faster processing on eligibility. The seat allocation algorithm, guided by departmental rules of merit list and reservation roster, efficiently manages over 40 criteria.
- Real-time Application Status to Students & Data access through dashboard to Govt. for decision making.
